[Biography]

Soorin Shin is a South Korean artist who 3D prints distortion. 3D printing sculptures of virtual objects, she highlights distortion generated by transformation between the real and the digital. Now based in the UK, she obtained BA (hons) in Fine Art from the Glasgow School of Art in 2020. Currently, she is participating in the online exhibition, ‘Wretched Light Industry’ supported by Creative Art Scotland. In 2019, she worked as an exhibition assistant at ‘Scotland+Venice’, Venice Biennale.
